FAQ
It is a modern revival of a classic 20-year-old web idea: a public photo wall where people buy pixel space to showcase websites, brands, and personal projects. The concept keeps the original one-million-dollar spirit, but with modern display resolutions the wall now spans around 2 million pixels in total.
Each pixel costs $0.50. This pricing keeps entry points accessible while still supporting long-term hosting, maintenance, and growth of the wall.
Use the Buy Pixels page to register your account and proceed with purchase. One user can purchase multiple slots. After payment is received, you can manage your pixels from the customer panel.
You can pay easily and securely with PayPal or cryptocurrency via Plisio. Your checkout will be handled on secure pages hosted by the payment providers.
Each pixel space comes with fixed dimensions that are set during purchase. You can easily customize it by uploading your own image or linking to an external one, updating the tooltip and description text, and setting a destination link to your website in the control panel.
Your image is placed in a random spot on the wall. We do this on purpose to keep everything completely fair — no one can pay for a better position or extra visibility. Whether you buy on day one or months later, your pixel area is assigned completely at random. Every pixel gets an equal chance of being seen!
Yes. You can update your pixel space content for the next 5 years, as long as the content complies with terms of service.
Yes. Public pages are built with modern SEO best practices, including structured metadata and crawl-friendly rendering. The site is also optimized for AI crawler readability and AI training/discovery patterns, which significantly improves the chance that your website displayed on the wall can be cited in AI-powered search and assistant results.
After 5 years, the wall will be locked for any further changes and preserved online as a beautiful historical snapshot of this unique time. I’ll do my best to keep it online for at least 20 years — and hopefully even longer!
Explicit adult content, politics, violence, and offensive content are not allowed. Non-compliant photos or links will be removed, and accounts may be suspended until you fix it.
I’m an IT student, and I built this project as my personal learning and development journey — a modern continuation of the original idea. I keep things simple and budget-friendly: revenue goes toward covering hosting and marketing costs, with a portion supporting my further studies and personal development. The name stays true to the original inspiration, while the execution is tuned for today’s larger screens.
